Hot Water Extraction

When comparing the hot water extraction method to other forms of carpet cleaning, most carpet manufacturers will recommend that their products be cleaned with hot water extraction.
For steam cleaning, the water must reach a temperature high enough for it to transform into a gas. Applying steam to carpet is not as effective as there is no rinsing of the carpet fibres.
Hot water extraction cleans deeply and effectively, but is not so hot that it changes into a gas. Yes, there will be visible steam using the hot water extraction method; however, it is still just very hot water.
The dry-cleaning method, which is dry foam, dry chemicals and dry compounds, does not clean or rinse the carpet. In fact, it leaves a chemical residue. The name itself is misleading, because a small amount of moisture in the form of application solutions is used.
The most effective cleaning method of cleaning carpets, rugs, and upholstery is hot water extraction.
